“We know that going back to a new school year is hard, especially when you don’t have basic things like clothes that fit,” says Major Jerry Esqueda, Administrator and Pastor of The Salvation Army Murrieta Corps. “We aim to help eliminate that problem by supplying children with everything they need.”

Over 200 volunteers will take the children through the store to help them purchase items.

This event is organized by the Advisory Board of The Salvation Army Corps Community Center in Murrieta. Donations for the JCPenney gift cards came from the Advisory Board, Murrieta, Rotary Club of Temecula, and Pechanga Resort and Casino.

“We are incredibly grateful for the support from our Advisory Board and volunteers,” says Esqueda. “We couldn’t do this without them.
