Child Spree 2023

Child Spree is a back-to-school clothing drive for children in the Southwest region of Riverside County. We are the largest back-to-school program in the region. Each child is given up to $125 worth of new school clothes and an additional $25 worth of school supplies and free books. In normal years volunteers are used to shopping with a child, however, due to Covid concerns, we will have parents shop with their children.

Volunteer Opportunity!

Each year The Salvation Army and Volunteers like you help children get ready to go back to school with new clothes and school supplies. Volunteers are needed to help with the following:

Set-Up/Tear Down
Distribution of School Supplies, Books, Extra Goodies, & Breakfast
Crowd Control, or Security
Assisting families as requested

Like last year due to ongoing COVID concerns, we will be allowing parents to shop with their children, however, volunteers are needed to assist some parents who have multiple children and request help.

Each Volunteer is encouraged to be vaccinated, if not they must wear a mask during the event. In addition, all volunteers must read, agree to, and sign documents regarding child safety.
